Words can not describe how much I enjoyed my little getaway to the Snowy Mountains this month. It’s my first proper holiday in almost two decades and I’ve finally lived a lifelong dream to get to the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long. Hope you enjoy some of the scenery below. This will be my first of many visits. Next time, in the snow I hope! 🙂 Maybe even at the Thredbo Jazz Festival sometime soon. I can hope!

There was so much wildlife. Flocks of superb parrots, crimson rosellas, king parrots, galahs, cockatoos, corellas, emus, hawks, kangaroos, wallabies, paddy melons, lots of hares/rabbits (feral pest but very cute), and rainbow trout. The whole area was pristine in its beauty and one thing I really noticed and appreciated was the absence of litter.

I really only took one photo of Jindabyne, and it’s a doozy. Just look at that view!
